Description

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of northwest California, including the followingcounty, Humboldt.* WHEN...Until 600 AM PST.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Water over roadways. There will be an increased risk of rock andland slides along roadways.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 451 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gaugesindicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small streamflooding. Between 4 and 10 inches of rain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expectedover the area. This additional rain will result in minorflooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Eureka, Arcata, Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park, WillowCreek, Hoopa, Honeydew, Garberville, Orick, Richardson GroveState Park, Shelter Cove, Orleans, Fortuna, Rio Dell, MapleCreek, Bridgeville, Carlotta, Pepperwood, Scotia,McKinleyville and Dinsmore.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
