Description

* WHAT...For the Blizzard Warning, blizzard conditions. Windsgusting as high as 45 mph and visibility below a quarter of amile. For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected. Totalsnow accumulations between 12 and 24 inches.* WHERE...Northwest Pocahontas and Southeast Randolph Counties.* WHEN...For the Blizzard Warning, until 10 AM EST Saturday. For theWinter Storm Warning, from 10 AM to 7 PM EST Saturday.* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling andblowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will maketravel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Travel couldbe very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions couldimpact the Friday evening commute. Gusty winds could bring downtree branches.
