* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northeast NewMexico, including the following areas, in central New Mexico,Central Highlands, Estancia Valley, Sandia and Manzano Mountainsincluding Edgewood and South Central Mountains. In north centralNew Mexico, East Slopes Sangre de Cristo Mountains and SouthernSangre de Cristo Mountains. In northeast New Mexico, Far NortheastHighlands, Johnson and Bartlett Mesas Including Raton Pass andNortheast Highlands.* WHEN...Through late tonight.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occurin poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may beflooded.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Torrential rainfall rates in excess of two inches per hourwill create rapid runoff that can quickly produce flashflooding.
