Birdsfoot Trefoil is a perennial plant sometimes used by farmers as a forage crop for their livestock, and right now it can be seen growing along the edges of roadways. Its brilliant yellow flowers make it a striking standout. It grows about eight inches high and its scent is rather bitter. This picture shows its small flowers which are very artistic and amazingly beautiful. Photographed today July 2nd.
